It’s insane how society has become so accepting of such age gaps. In particular, most women do not even notice it because the movie industry has done a remarkable job brainwashing us that this is normal. A bearded, greying man coupled with a baby-faced actress has become the norm in every movie. We just feel like it’s normal now but when we learn the age gap, our first instinct is shock and disgust. This goes to show that it’s not normal at all.
