Thank you for writing this! Beauty bias is definitely real and I experienced it twice yesterday on public transport. When I dress more laid-back and scruffy, I'm often ignored but yesterday I dressed fancier than usual and two people let me board the bus first. It could've been a coincidence but this rarely happens to me and for it to happen twice? It seemed so off to how I'm usually treated in public when heading to work.
